From April 23 to 27, 2018, the CPS/ organized by the China Petroleum Society (CPS), the International Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), the China Oil and Gas Group Co., Ltd. (CNPC), the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC), the China National Offshore Oil Group Co., Ltd. (CNOOC), and the Petroleum Geophysical Prospecting Professional Committee (SPG) of the China Petroleum Society SEG Beijing 2018 International Geophysical Conference & Exhibition was held in Beijing International Convention Center. Seiser Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. attended the academic conference and participated in the exhibition.

On December 5, the Beijing Representative Department of SEG held the fourth quarter academic exchange meeting of 2017 at the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development of PetroChina, with the theme of "Seismic Petrophysics and Reservoir Prediction", which aims to exchange and discuss the results of the current experimental theoretical research and industrialization application in the field of petrophysics with peers.

The seismic interpretation and reservoir prediction team has established a research system for different exploration and development stages, different geological conditions and different reservoir types. Through cooperation with the geological research team, the main geological problems are clarified.
